Campania showcases Optosensing
Among the protagonists of the Italian collective is Optosensing, the only Campania-based company present at SPIE Photonics West 2026. Founded in 2013 as an academic spin-off born from the collaboration between researchers from the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli and Hpsystem.it, Optosensing is today an innovative SME specializing in mature and field-validated fiber optic distributed monitoring solutions.
The company develops and provides end-to-end services that include system and sensor design and manufacturing, on-site installation and commissioning, as well as data analysis and interpretation to support operational decisions. Applications range from structural, geotechnical, environmental, and railway monitoring to the oil and gas and subsea infrastructure sectors.
